Only a fool thinks he is a wise man.

A truly wise man knows that he cannot possibly know everything. Some people cannot admit they are wrong. Some are unwilling to change or open to a new point of view.

I'm disturbed at the name calling going on in this thread. If you are going to argue the facts, then argue the facts. There is no reason to resort to this level of behavior. Dont' take the presented arguments so personally. A few members still need to grow up.

You SUCK!!

Just kidding.

"Alright Hockey, getting back to the point.

What did you decide to do. Replace w/hi-flo cat? Which one did you decide to go with?"

I haven't done anything yet. I am still planning on a high-flow cat, but I am not sure which one to get. This thread sort of went haywire. I figured it would as do all cat discussions. Whenever I did a search I always found 1 or 2 constructive answers and then a flame war starts. Environmentalists tend to get on a soap box, instead of providing a simple answer, this in turn makes the fiercely independent fire back, and you end up with a 4 page "you suck", "no you suck" thread with 1 or 2 actual suggestions. It's really frustrating. All I wanted was a few suggestions on a cat company, so I could compare numbers. Like 5 catco v. 3 Magna-flow v. 2 whatever, and maybe some advice, 4 people say to stay away from thx Exhaust Company or something. In any case, whatever I do, I will post up on. We are still installing the engine right now so the cat is a ways off. I'd rather get a bolt on cat, but I am not sure which cats that applies to. Oh well, the search continues. To all those who gave a constructive answer, thanks!!

Well, I got a good deal on a Random High-Flow cat. It's a direct fit bolt on. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

BTW, the "Random" cat works great. Can pass emissions, decient performance, and sounds good too! lol Thought I would update after strolling down memory lane, just in case anyone else is looking for a bolt on cat.
