Here is my truck.. Icelandic Snow Monster (Toy 92 38")

http://194.105.235.169/gus/myndir/je.../Island007.jpg

It's on 38" mudders, and has the stock 2.4 EFI Engine. Performance header and an open free flow exhaust. (no cat). K&N

It's setup for snow driving, deflate the tires to get a larger surface area for a better float.

The rear axle has been moved back 15cm (5-7 inches ?).

AC pump, and an air tank, it's automaticly fylls the tank then shuts off, use it for pumping the tires after deflating and for the rear airlock.

Second electrical system, independant for all additional electronics:
CB, VHF, NMT, GPS, Rear lights, forward beams and fog lights, fuel pump(pump from tank 2 to tank 1) e.t.c.

I suspected that because I have a '93 4x4 pickup, but never seen the double cab in that vintage truck. Did the US get any of those? I've seen plenty of double cab Tacomas though...

gummi,

real nice looking rig! I looked quick at your avatar and thought it was a 4runner. It gives you a lot more options since you can take the cap off.

How much and what type of lift is that running? I LOVE those trucks. You guys always seem to get big tires on them with minimal lift. Whats the secrect?

The secret is just to cut as much out as you can ! So you don't have to lift it up as much... Then lift it if you need it.. But I think usually you have to lift it if you dont have solid axles, in my case it's 10cm.

Here is an action shot from this saturday:

--> Full throttle

There is not much snow here now, the real fun starts after christmas usually.

But would like to do something, someday...

Actually that is not true. The Diesel Hilux came with a solid axle but the 22RE or all gasoline models had an IFS
