Saw this decapitated Chevy Astro driving on 66 East, forgot I took these summer '03 and just found them. Click on a thumb to get the big pic in a new window...

Nice pics Dajabr.

Mr. Astro Van Driver needs his head examined. I though Astro vans were uni body design. If they are then he screwed the pouch by reducing body/frame strength.

I think the euro rear lights are the coolest thing about it.

I though it was a F-150 from the first two pics.

Maybe this guy thought he was doing a "monster garage" project.

Happy New Year!

This reminded me of something I saw about a month ago. The things ya see without your camera. I saw this 2nd gen 4runner, from the seats back was cut out and a bed made out of the rear cargo area. This thing was really really clean. Went so far as to make the back behind the seats look like the back hatch. In case I'm not making sense it looked like one of those avalanches but a 4runner. I shoulda ran the redlight and followed the guy.

I'm not quite sure what to think. Obviously this guy cares how his ride looks because he painted it trying to match the SI color blue but the whole side of it dented up and the cuts look like that aren't sealed. I think I see rust on them. Astro's do ride with a frame under them but I still don't think anyone would survive a roll over in that thing. I hope this guy already wrecked it before the picture and cut off the damaged part and is going to get another top.

The back window is the best part.

It's actually purple, the photos barely show it, and the scans don't at all. Judging by the body damage on the right side I'd bet he just decided to have fun with it after a tree fell on it or something.
