Gotta love the CFC program

Was able to get an e-locker for my 96 from a buddy of mine that was involved in this program from the goverment. We had to swap my original gears but that is okay because my runner only has 120k on it. Nice part was we were able to pull the original wire harness and use it as well. Might be the first time that i've ever been happy with a goverment program.

Glad you got a good deal out of it, but ultimately it's taxpayers like us that pay for that program, among others.

Well that E-Locker and harness cost the tax payers $24,000!!! Go look at http://www.edmunds.com/help/about/pr...6/article.html

Edmunds did the math and with all the overhead and government red tape, we the tax payers paid $24,000 per car that was turned in on the cash from clunkers program.

Nice! Good steal..errr deal LOL. What government program isnt made to be leeched off? Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free? You just seized the moment It was going to the scrapyard to be picked apart anyways so if you didnt get it, someone else would. Thanks to the CFC program, I got a set of 4.88 diffs for my 86 4Runner last week. It makes me sad to find how many clean 4Runner, Cherokee, Grand Cherokee, Exploder, and Blazers with BAD MOTOR written on the windshield.
