Getting ready to lift...want opinions on my potential setup
So after doing quite a bit of searching on the forum....i think ive decided on the lift i want to go for and wanted other peoples opinions on it.
For the front i was going to go with Donahoes extended travel coilovers with Camburg upper control arms, and a toytec diff drop.
For the back I was thinking about getting Allpros rear 3" suspension kit with Bilstein 5150 shocks.
What do you guys think? Ive heard mixed comments about Allpros setup, but all the comments i heard were for the front lift kit.
Thanks for the opinions guys.
Also...what size tires would you recommend for the stock wheels with this size lift?

I talked to a guy locally who is running Donahoes on his 3rd gen 4Runner and he swears they are the greatest thing. I've personally had no experience with them. Good luck on your set-up and good job on the research.

Thanks for doing the research on your own and then asking educated questions. I wish we could get everyone to follow your lead rather than just asking "Hey what lift should I go with?" Those threads are really getting old.
You could probably get 285's under there with that set up.

After doing some additional research, I think I'm going to run 255/85s, they seem to be a good cross between daily driving capability and wheelin capability. Thanks for the advice guys!

I have a friend with a Tacoma ex cab running the exact setup in the front as you are and it's very very nice. If I had the coin, I'd probably do the same. I say go for it.
He's running Deavers in the back, which are also very cool.
Donohoes and Camburgs up front and Deavers out back seem to be the bee's knees over at TTORA with the Tacoma guys. There's a reason for that...

Shoot Jacque or me a PM when you're ready on the coil overs. We typically have the Cambergs and the Icons in stock. UCA's also. Great pricing for our forum members.
Thanks,
