Feeler - Hella 4000 lamps (2)

I am considering removing the Hella 4000 Eurobeam lamps from my 4Runner and wanted to see if there was any interest here before putting together an Ebay auction.

I purchased the lights through Susquehana Motorsports in 2002. After mounting these to the flimsy Toyota bumper, I decided to fab a set of 1/4" brackets that tie the lamp mounts directly to the frame ends (no more vibration).

If I sell these, I would include the lamps, Hella wiring harness, Toyota fog light switch, Hella heavy-duty switch, lamps covers, and the custom brackets. I know what I paid for these () but have no idea what they are worth at this point. The current price for the set is $240 at http://www.rallylights.com/hella/4000.asp. The lamps are in great shape and have always functioned perfectly. If you are interested, please feel free to send a PM or email to discuss further. Here are a few pics:

I like (make that love) them, but they're probably too rich for my blood...

Bonk,
The lamps use a metal cradle (and rubber gasket) that holds the housing securely. This design allows the lamp to be positioned a few degrees up/down or sideways. A large bolt goes through the cradle and into your mounting location of choice. Once the light is aimed correctly, two knurled knobs lock the housing in place. There is no question that this is the most robust lamp mounting design on the market today.

Do they have the -City Light- feature?

The little 5Watt bulb that illuminates the housing?

John,
No, these are the standard Eurobeams - 100w bulb per housing.

I have decided to remove the lights/brackets/harness/etc. and will do this in the morning if the weather cooperates... If I have time, I'll take a few pics of everything and post them here. I've had a few PMs asking about the setup - if you're interested, contact me with an offer.

The lights/mounts/brackets/harness have been removed. I will clean everything in the next few days and post a few pics here.

The truck looks naked
