Question Factory rack snowboard attachment??

Does anyone know where I can find the best deal on a attachment for my factory rack that will hold at least 2 snowboards and is lockable? I'd like to spend no more than $100 or so if this is possible...

Here goes....

To hold 4 boards: $99
http://www.rei.com/online/store/Prod...8000&langId=-1

To hold 2 boards: $89
http://www.rei.com/online/store/Prod...8000&langId=-1

You'll need this too: $22
http://www.rei.com/online/store/Prod...=647000-494016

And these: $22
http://www.rei.com/online/store/Prod...=646999-494177

And depending on your binings, you may want these: $110
They have one side lifted so you can stack 2 boards and still clear the bindings.

Maybe I should work for REI, no?

i know this is an old thread, but i found it while searching threads. could help some

get the yakima snowboard rack, there's a couple. i have the big powder hound i think. it holds two boards well, 4 boards snugly. you can buy some adapters to make it fit on the toyota roof rack. if you got the cash, go for the whole yakima setup, it's quality.

go check out ebay. i just got the yakima lift ticket 6 snowboard/ski rack for $30. It holds up to 4 snowboards. You will also need to get mounting adapters for like $20 from SportChalet or some place that sells Yakima products.

That's the same Yakima rack that I have. Mine was $80 for the rack, $20 for the adaptors, and $15 for the locks.

it was a beautiful sight indeed. only sucky part was getting the snow off the windows, scraping the ice, waiting to defrost...that time could have been spent on some fresh pow! oh well, worth the wait
