On the second day of wheeling at TDS a couple weekends ago, my check engine light came on. I checked my air filter since it is a K&N and I heard that the fluid on their filters can coat the MAF sensor. I went down to AutoZone to try and pull the CEL code and they just had theirs "borrowed but not returned"

The next day, my CEL disappears and I replaced the air filter with a WIX filter after it went away. I haven't noticed any change in my truck. BTW the old air filter was really clogged with dirt

Think I should try and pull that code anyways or just keep truckin?

A very dirty air filter could have caused the CEL.
I would still try and find an Autozone to check for stored codes.

I'd still get the code as it could also be something else. The wife got the check engine light earlier this week, and it turned out to be the 02 sensor. Today, she has told me that the light went out. I'm still getting the 02 sensor.
