Engine Stalling

Engine Stalling
I have a 2000 4Runner SR5 with 4x4, V6 with automatic. The truck has 27,000 miles and runs very good and has been maintained well.
When idleing with a warm engine, a few times when accelerating slowly from idle the engine bogged and stalled, but quickly restarted.
Anything I should check ?
Thanks

For plugs just go to the dealer and ask for the stock plugs, they're cheap so it's worth getting them there. If it's always in the same rpm range when you're just moving it could be your TPS is bad in that little range and causing the engine to cutout.

Hey, your truck should still be under the powertrain warranty.
Although duplicating the problem may be difficult, they should cover this type of thing.

Thanks guys - the dealer just called and said that it was the TPS and it is covered under warranty.
Also - got the 30,000 mile maintenance for $329, sound about right ?

I paid about that for my old Tacoma, and got a free rental car.

I'm a little pissed about the $329 schedule Z maintenance.
They did the standard lube stuff, flush and filled radiator & tranny, repacked front wheel bearings, balanced and rotated tires, new air filter, plugs and stuff.
BUT - the bill came to $371, when I asked they said there was a $30 shop supplies and disposal fee and the platinum plugs were and extra $20. WTF? They should have disclosed that up front instead of pointing to the fine print in a coupon taped to the customer service table.
I do want to say that the truck is running smooth as silk and has a little extra kick. I did get the old airfilter (which was new from CarMax - only had 4000 miles on it) so I can swap that back in in another 10,000 miles. The old plugs looked great and may have been new also, so they can be cleaned and reused laster also.
I certainly won't need to take it to the dealer for another 30,000 miles unless I have a warranty issue.
Being that we bought it used and Carmax did not give us a detailed list of what maintenece they did , I am glad we had the work done for piece of mind.

FYI: They will take $15 off for the air filter if you tell them ahead of time. You should also get the exact total in writing before you leave, then there are no surprises.
You definetly paid too much, but you also learned something in the process.
Dealing with the Stealer is a pain.
