Any other electrical issues as well? maybe radio cutting out or noise in the radio? hard starts or stalling? do the head lights flicker when you step on the brakes? Does the flash to pass high beams cause a near stall situation?
I had all of those problems and discovered it was fairly common in 2nd gen 3.0L. Check out this thread for the write up on the cheap and simple fix if any of the above applies to you.
Good luck!

Hold on now it gets better...The radio, the dome lights inside, the clock and the high beams are on one fuse the one that is marked dome
...Now I'm guessing I have a short because the fuse blew yesterday didn't think that it was Connected all together which I don't think it should be
... But now I'm still stuck on how to get my highbeams working with out spending a fortune rewiring the truck  ...

Have got the problem down to a wiring problem that blow the fuse and then the highbeams stop working...Tried a different combo switch didn't work either...Had brainstrom replace fuse in the dome fuse spot and then they worked...Now the fuse blew again and I'm gettin to my wits end seeing as my highbeams should not be on this circiut
