I can't find information on how to disable DRL on headlights on 3rd Gen 4Runner. If I missed it somewhere, coul you please provide a link?

I have 2001 Limited and trying to find a way to disable DRL on the headlights. I'd likely will transfer them to auxiliary lights with switch, so they can be switched off while being in the quiet comunitys. In addition I want to upgrade headlights to HIDs, and its better performed when they are not affected by DRL.
What are the options and procedures?

The very first link found, was the one Miles posted above. Conclusion - when in doubt, google.

Did you try my phrase: 2001 4runner drl disable. It worked for me. Very 1st link.

'01 & '02 drl systems are the exact same, so any information you find for a '02, will also work for your '01.

Again, the very first link posted in thread by Red3.slow (Miles), is the one you'll want to use.
