If you wait until afterwards it's not gonna work.

The downside to this is that the "BRAKE" sign stays on so you won't know if you have a legitimate problem on your hands.
yeah, somehow driving around with my parking brake cranked up just does not sound good
I think I would rather "snip. snip"

When properly used, light can be a great weapon.

Well, I guess the gate Gods whant to be able to see the sticker and you in the car and hat you are doing..so, they can't be blinded by your lights..it does make sense.....except for when they yell at me in the middle of the day about it..when the headlamps don't do anythng...

I did the "snip snip" to mine, but ended up re connecting them due to the phantom high beam indicator phenomenon.

(My high beam indicator would flicker on and off randomly, and at night, with the vehicle off, I noticed the indicator was always on faintly)

Somthing about needing a resistor or somthing, but havn't heard about anyone solving this problem yet.

didnt know if you knew about this possible consequence.

Maybe so
Actually there are combat lights out there http://www.surefire.com

Not to be used by themselves, of course... in conjunction with a more lethal weapon. Blind and shoot.
