I have a question, I have an 86 toyota pickup, and a friend of mine offered me a lift kit for my truck, this list kit is for an 89 truck. My question is would this lift kit fit on my truck or should I look for another kit?

i think that they would fit. Im not completely sure but i think they made the kits from 86-89 and then got new kits. So i think it would fit. But wait for someone with a truck like yours to get on they will probably now a little more. It also might help if we new what type of kit it was.

Lift kits for an 86 will fit on all years up to 95, and vice versa. Thay are all pretty interchangeable. I could take the suspension off my freinds 86 and bolt it up to my 91 if I wanted or had any reason to.

See the deal is my friend took it off of an 89 pickup, it is a 4" lift, he is pretty sure it is made by trialmaster, I can buy it for $50 since I gave him some rims for his 4runner. The kit is complete with shocks, his friend used it for about 3 months then decided to change it for a bigger lift. I think it is a good deal, what do you think?

It's a steal. I WISH I could find a deal like that. I want to throw my 3" out in favor of a 4".
