Daystar spacers from a dodge ram?

Hi all,

After posting here about what spacers to use in the rear of my 99 T4R, to go along with some 1" fronts, I remembered I had some Daystar 1.5" spacers that were for a Dodge Ram. I had them installed in the back springs on my 02 Trooper. I took some crude measurements and it looks like they would fit the diameter of the spring. The only question is will they fit over the bump stop. Anyone here know what the widest part of the rear bump stop measures? If it fits, is there any harm in using them? One more thing, does the 1" front give 1" or more do to suspension geometry?

Thanks,
Scott

It looks like the inside of the Jounce bumper is ~3 3/4" and the outside is ~4 1/4". Many have mounted their rear coils without the jounce bumper if it works better. You will loose some height, the thickness of the bumper flange.

One inch at the front shock will give you almost twice as much at the wheel. Just short of 2".
