You know about what you have to do with the Mecatech's to make them fit?

si.

I would rather put them on and use part of the old ones and not have to worry about them busting again. If I were to go with OEM's I'd end up doing them again later. Anyway, a seal is a seal and I haven't heard of any of them leaking after the install, I've only heard the people that sent them back after ordering them because they didn't want to "rig" it. mine are dry rotted and they needed replacing, plus the Mecatech's fins don't touch which was a major source of wear on my lifted runner's cv boots.

Cool deal. I'll be interested to hear how it goes! I had one of those kits but ended up returning it to Mike, because I was too :chicken: to do it if it wasn't a direct replacement.

Keisur,

Man you arene lucky guy, you got all those new toys to play with and install, I'm jelous. One question/request I have for you. Could you please do a write up of how to instll"rig" the Mechatech boots, I ordered them awhile back to replace a torn CV and ended up canceling b4 they ever shipped b/c I knew of the problem and wanted a direct swap myself, also b/c I had no idea what everyone was saying I had to do to make them fit. I wanted them but had no idea wh to stat.

If you could would you do a write up, I might order the kit then, nad I'm sure more ppl. here at Yotatech would do the kit if we could see how to do it correctly.

I guess it should be easy since there are two to do. hehe. I'll practice on the first so I know what to take pics of on the other. It may take some time since I have to deal with Randy's and them sending me the wrong front diff but that should be taken care of 2 saturday's from now.

I thought other people had actually installed them here on the board. I guess I'll be the guinny pig.

know others have them on their rigs, it's just that no one has done write up, I have neve even changed a CV before so the whole ida of rigging something w/ my front axel just botthred me, and not having ay wrie-up to go off of made it worse.

So take your time and let u know if/when you get it done.
