I dunno man. Its worth a try i guess. Ide try it just for better gas mileage. More air =better gas mileage and power. And this thing might help. So buy it and let us know how it works lol. It looks like he just stole his wifes hairdryer and stuck it in there to me. But i dunno. ANYONE ELSE?

Oh belive me I wasn't going to buy it. Just wondering how it worked ?

Looks like a blower motor with a toggle switch or something ? So whats the idea ? You flip the switch, the motor kicks in, and jams more air into the intake pipe ?

If thats the Case you could build one yourself of a few bucks and some wiring. But will it actually do anything ?

It may be junk or it may not, without actually trying one its hard to say. I mean basically it makes sense in theory. Its basically and electrically driven compressor side of a turbo. I would have a little more faith if it wasn't made out of plastic and I had some technical specs, but I have thought for a while trying to pick up a jy turbo and drive if by and electric motor, finances just haven't allowed for such testing.

I doubt that little motor would have enough flow to actually compress the air in your intake.

You will not see much improvement at all from something like this and in fact some of them end up restricting airflow in the end.

The only ones that actually work are like these:

http://www.electricsupercharger.com/eram.shtml

....and these barely deliver 1-2 psi.....so the ebay ones are complete BS (more like 0.1 psi)!

There is a reason why the supercharger is so large and expensive.

might as well build a huge compressor/air tank and inject that into manifold. "in theory" this will work is it realistic? no.

Edit: nevermind, that's what SC or turbo IS. haha

Those electric supercharges will probably do less than the one on ebay. The ebay one is just a plastic compressor housing, which is the prefered method to compress air. The ones in the link try to do it in line, like a house fan. Compare a house fan to a hair dryer of the same size and tell me which one makes more pressure
