Couple of small mods yesterday

I tried Dr. Z's intake silencer removal mod, and like the other S/C guys have reported, there is no change in power. I did however, get a lot more intake noise at low rpm, but it was a whistling sound comming from the s/c drawing in the air. I ended up taking the caps off and putting the silencer back on.

I also decided it was time for a new maglite.

The maglite mod is cool. I did mine a while back and use it all the time. It comes in really handy.

Where did you get the brackets to mount the Mag-lite?

SLC Punk,

I am going home this weekend and will hopefully be picking up a set. If you need me to pick up an extra set, assuming they have them when I go to Home Depot, let me know and I'll pick a set for you. PM me or email me.

If they have just a set of the brackets, let me know. I have a maglite that I am going to put in my camry that could use the mounting brackets.

Alright, if they have just the brackets I'll let you know. On Home Depot's website, the brackets only cost $4.99 or so. I'll let you know if they have them when I go.

Yeah each bracket has two screws. I put silicone on each screw to seal off the holes.
