Comparing RPMs & MPH based on Gear Choice

Edit:

Aaron made a good point about true speed vs what the speedometer reads. Once you increase your tire size, your speedometer is no longer 100% accurate. Once you regear, it brings the speedo closely back to being accurate, but it is still not 100%. It does not bring it back to being as accurate as it was with stock tires and stock gearing.

Since the chart I had posted was not 100% accurate, I've moved it back to my original post in RunnerUp's thread:

https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/f...locker-125949/

I had calculated rpms at specific speeds based on what the speedometer needle read. However, with larger tires are installed, the speedometer was not 100% accurate. Like I stated earlier, even when a vehicle has been regeared, it is still not as accurate as it was when the vehicle was completely stock.

Therefore, unless you have installed a True Speed calibrator to correct you speedometer or have measured your mphs using a GPS, then the speedometer will not read 100% accurate. So to keep the confusion down for anyone who searches for this thread later, I have moved it to the thread I linked above.

stormin94, I have also added you numbers to the linked thread too. Thanks.
