I'm done on this subject. I will not post on it again ever. So when the world comes to an end remember it's all cause I don't have a cat on my truck.
Thanks,

Do you have kids? Probably not, since you have no consideration for the world they'll be living in. But hey, why fight it? After all, when you are gone there will be another like-minded individual to fill your shoes.
I'm from Pittsburgh. Even when I was growing up, long after they had enacted clean air and water legislation for the steel industry, this city still seemed dirty. I was gutting part of my house last summer and found all sorts of black soot in the walls - it was disgusting, but "normal" for an old house in this region. Now, you can not even tell this is the same city. These LAWS are enacted for a reason - to protect us from ourselves.
One of the characteristics of intelligent life is that we learn from history. By all means. continue to draw your own conclusions.
Here are a few things that might help in your quest for power or speed:
- Use asbestos to insulate intake and exhaust. Those airborn fibers are like breathing in octane booster.
- Drink a shot of mercury before every race. It improves your reaction time.
- Remove you exterior mirrors. Those just create drag. Who cares what's back there anyway.
- Remove the airbag (someone beat me to this one). Great way to shave weight on the rig. Less lbs/hp. They're overrated anyway.
- Remove your brakelights. Unnecessary voltage draw saps horsepower. See above for concerns about other motorists.
- Lastly, remove your cat. The respiratory ailments contracted by your opponents, will have them coughing when it's go-time. You'll win on reaction time (unless you're coughing too)
As a father of three young kids, I care about what goes into the air. Not for my sake, but for my kids and their kids. In PA, we have both vehicle and emission inspections yearly. I, for one, believe that since I'm not environmentalist, or an automotive engineer, that I have to think they have my best interests in mind.
If I was a tree hugger, I be driving a RAV4 or a Subaru, so don't bother going there.
