does anyone know where i can get some aftermarket chrome strips?

i know exactly where id love for some chrome strips to go (width of the door, bottom portion lining up with my chrome front and rear bumpers), but have been unable to track some down.

any ideas??

i cant wait to see this take shape!

Pep Boys sell adhesive backed chrome tape. You could probably visit a sign or metal shop and inquire about some polished aluminum. It will be thin enough you can cut it with snips.

wow, good call.

and its not about the bling! i love the chrome trim (do not get why this is considered lower (sr5) trim only) and think that'd look really nice.

thanks for the help.

lee,

toyota sells factory trim that fits in that spot, but to my recollection, no chrome. personally, color coded (matching) trim looks best. chrome in that area might make it look like some of the lowriders out here in LA!

I was thinking about something like this would look nice:

Sorry, that's the best pic I could find. I see them on pickups all the time.

Would match the chrome bumpers nicely, but can't find any for 4Runner.
