YotaFun, Glad to hear you fixed your rig. All it took was a lil patience. Also having a parent down your throat doesnt help any either im sure.

Now you can tell your mom that all it needed was a lil cleaning and nothing serious

I spaz out too when i cant figure something out. Something i need to work on

All advice will be appreciated! Thank you all!
Yes, You are already getting the the injectors. Get the piggy back computer and the stronger fuel pump. And well theres something else. Im sure someone else will add onto it. Too early to be thinking right now.

It's back....
Tomorrwo I will drive by autozone in between classes to double check the same code...
I can hear the cash register already dinging to my input of money for a new part...
So yeah...
All good for the time until today on my way home from school...
I looked and there it appears...
So we shall see tomorrow...

::Update::
I don't know how she did it but she did...
Either my tone in my voice or someting...
But she got outta me that the CEL is on...
Greatest part about it though...
She didn't care...
She was like "Find out whats wrong (again) and then if you know what you need just tell me and we'll get it and you can fix it."
She said I could fix it...
Something really must have made her day lol....

man, i had a friend like you in highschool, his mom could get any info she wanted outta that kid. if it is the P0171 code, just clean the maf in the autozone parking lot and have them clear the code. mine kept throwing a CEL until i had them specifically clear it, even after i pulled my ECU and disconnected my battery

Okay...
I went out and reset the light cause it really gets under my skin to see that light on...
Went for a drive and the Runner is back up to driving as nicly as it did...
I noticed when the light was on the acceleration felt weak light the runner was starving for either air or fuel when i put the pedal down...
So my question is...
When I reset the light
Am I resetting everything?

good posting

EDIT: I too have a k&n, ashamed...got it before i found this place. i attribute that to the reason my MAF got so dirty. plus he said he claened it 3 times in 23k....id say that says alot

too bad it was'nt that easy

Well first I am going to purchase a single fuel injector to run it a bit to see if thats the problem that has been creating the P0304 4th cylinder misfire code. Then I will eventually order those Bosch 318cc if they seem to work well with the supercharger that I have being shipped as we speak...=) I also have an SMT 5 chip...Does anyone know how to tune one of these bad boys? My buddy who had installed it is extremely busy with work and I hate to bother him. Last but not least, Would the Walbro 190 fuel pump do it for me? My other buddy who has a suoercharged Taco says that this is the one to get. I bet hes right nonetheless. Thanks! Oh yeah! just remembered...should I be thinking about an IPT Valve body upgrade...It is roughly $600-$700 depending on how fast I would like by truck back. Thanks again all!

Yeah it is to bad. but just replacing a $150 part when a simple cleaning of the maf might have been the only problem. Hey maybe he should just replace the whole ECU.

Well since the obd2 read 02 sensor, i thought that it was only logical that there was something wrong with the sensor. so please forgive me for being confused... i just realized that my tire was flat, so i am going to go clean my floormats to see if that will fix it.

what a character you are! hopefully you dont pop like cramer did last week

YF, that sucks bro. hopefully like someone said, if you take it back and have em clear the code, maybe it'll be gone for good..(fingers crossed). the maf fix has worked for MANY people so you still have a shot

if you have to buy one, go to URD's site (underdog racing development) their $85 for non CA sensors and denso at that!

glad to see your mom is getting better handling the news! she now knows you can fx things on your won...she loves it!

Well, I'm guessing a P0171 system lean code or the P0XXXX (not sure) but its the TPS switch circuit A malfuntion. And that would be about $60 for a new TPS. The MAF code, just clean it with a can of brake cleaner. Do you run a K&N or any folter needing oil? This oil gets into the air stream, fouls the sensor wire. Gets oil film and collectos dirt.

Yeah...
The Runner is due for inspection next month...
I reset the CEL before I could pull the code...
(that light just gets sooo annoying)
But it seems to be running fine...
I put another 300 miles and the light has not come on...

Just today I cleaned the Throttle boddy...
That was fun...
Def feel a increase in Throttle Response....
(so much junk came outta that thing, I am surprised it even ran...)
I really need to get a diffrent air intake cause that this is just so difficult to move out of the way...

Tomorrow after work I am actually going to clean the exterior of the engine (still sooo muddy)

IF the CEL comes back I will grin and bear it till I get it To autozone to pull the code again...

But like I said all is good so far..
::knocks on wood, but is stil confident in his Yota::

I am still trying to get one of the old disconnects off (rusted to hell)
I don't know how I am goin to get it off...
I have the new ones still waiting...
(cries cause I want to hit some mud, it's been raingin for the past 3 days...)

Next will be deckplate mod
(going to do this and suprise mom...)
(any specific sixe too look out for, I can't recall reading it in the write-up?)

I have her convinced that I am capable of doing things and that things I do help the Runner
Though since I have been working and taking so much care of it (I normally do but she is actaully getting a glimpse of what I do....)
She is starting to see the light...

Right now I am on E-bay and such search for so many aftermarket things that I want to put on....
It's a big list...
But I am grining from cheek to cheek...

Next body mods will be Sports Edition Hood and 99+ bumper style...
Next interior mod will be Head Unit with blue tooth and iPod set up and a CB radio (by the by any suggestions on a CB? I know cobra is good but what particular one?)

So yeah...
lol back to searching...
Going to look for Black style lights (Euro's and JDM's I am guessing)
I want to do a Anthracite Metallic and Black Themed Runner...
Chrome is just too bling bling for me
So anything that shows silver or chrome or Gray will be powered coated Black...
And I will be getting the Black Peral Emblems...
Yeah...
One day...
It will be complete...
