catalytic convertor security

Hey, I saw on the last night that the 97 runner is a heavy target for catalytic convertor theft in cali. Does anyone have any ideas for theft security. I'd like to check out any options.

If someone wants to steal it, they're going to steal it. There is pretty much nothing you can do to stop a thief with a sawzall.

Your best bet is to avoid leaving it unattended in bad areas and park it in a garage whenever possible.

There has been lots of threads on this topic...search around. I have seen some people go to great lenghts to protect those things. I have seen chains welded to the Cat and to the frame...

Mine was stolen last year.

THIS is how I'm currently protecting the new one.

Thanks all. I did find two products called "Cat Clamp and Clamp Lock" uses clamps with safety bolts and cables. Matt did you rig a skid plat to cover it, I looked at that site but couldn't find anything specific.
