ASCO is the OEM maker of clutches for Toyota. Call Joe @ www.jtoutfitters.com or if you want a heavy duty clutch call Marlin @ www.marlincrawler.com

So which is it, LUK or ASCO ???

How can two manufacturers claim to be the OEM supplier ????

JTO has them for $20.00 less.

I'm in need of a clutch for my 4Runner, not a daily driver, but a second vehicle.

Anyone ???

Won't quite work on my 3.slow, and it would cost me $32.00 more dollars.

Joe @ www.jtoutfitters.com has them for $129. Call him and tell him you specifically want the ASCO kit.

Doh! I looked on the JTO website but couldn't find it so I bought it from the link I posted, $139 w/free shipping, not bad.

$139 ASCO Clutch Kit
FYI- I bought this clutch online w/free shipping on a Saturday night (last week), it was shipped on Monday, and I recieved it Thursday. The kit was packaged as "Power Clutch" or something like that, inside it was all ASCO (Aisin Seiko Co) with pilot and throwout bearing, clutch, clutch cover and alignment tool. I had a local shop install it today, along with a OEM rear main seal that I provided him. So far the clutch feels great and there is no leak from the rear main.

I picked up a brand new in box Centerforce Dual Friction with a Centerforce throwout bearing on Ebay for $210. Can't beat that. The torque holding cap of the DF is almost DOUBLE the stocker, with same pedal feel. I've had numerous friends who have ABUSED 4x4 rigs and swear by the CF DF. Just my input. Just because it's OEM doesn't mean it's the best available.
