Brake lights?
Ok here is the deal.My 91 4runners brake lights are always on when the headlights are on,no dimming when off the brake pedal. When the headlights are off the dash lights come on when I hit the brake pedal along with the brake lights.I have an auto and sometimes when I hit the pedal I hear a clicking sound right under the shifter indicator.Any ideas?

Now THAT's a tough one. You'd have to sit down with the electrical diagrams to figure that out and/or do some significant circuit troubleshooting. My best guess is a shorted lead somewhere. I also think there may be a control module for the lights which could be FUBAR.

Well one of my tail/brake lights are fryed out now.You think that if something was wrong with the bulbs that could cause the wierd problem I'm having?I know that when one of my blinker bulbs went out in the front that the passenger side blinkers would not work, even the good bulbs.I don't even know where to start looking.

Well in case anybody else has this problem I found out what was the problem. One of my brake light bulbs somehow fused together when it blew and was causing the problem.

First, did you recently install a connector for trailer lights? That's the number one cause of ailments like you describe. (Plug wired wrong.)
Also, same goes if you recently installed aftermarket taillights or clear turns, or a stereo system etc...
Second, get out your manual and a test light and test each fuse. When you're satisfied they're all good, pull each tail light bulb one at a time and test the lights. I bet you find a bad bulb or socket.
Third, looks for grounds that have come loose, gotten rusty, in the lighting circuit.
Last, it could be the turn signal switch in the column, which integrates/separates front and rear turns and brakes. It ain't likely a harness short. The only reason you usually get a harness short is chafing - to sharp metal for example. Fuses blow instantly. Wires don't chafe against each other and develop a cross feed short.
