best year of 4th gen tac?
I am in the process of selling my Dodge dakota v8 and getting a 4th gen Tacoma. But my question is what year of the 4th gen tac is the best?

it just needs to be a v6 and a 4x4.

I think the newer the better and I wouldn't go older than the '01 which I think is the year they freshened up the look especially the front end.

The best is going to be a '95. It will be much cheaper than a newer model and with the several thousand you saved you can do a lift tires bumper locker etc.

Throw mileage into the equation too since high miles might require a little extra maintenance.
