looks like i need to replace a head gasket again, when i bought the truck it had new gaskets, i think the package said "rock gaskets". anyone heard of these, who sells them. what is the best head gasket to put on the 3.0, should i spend the bucks and get a toyota one, or get something else.

 

If you don't you will just be replacing it again sometime soon. The factory ones are the only ones that seem to hold up.

Toyota brand Head-gaskets look like nothing else out there.

Everything else is a POS compared to them.

 

i got a master set of "rock" gaskets when i did my timing chain, they are a decent quality Japanese made gaskets, but personally, if the runner ever blows a head gasket i will be putting a Toyota gasket in it
