I have been searching and have had a tough time figuring out what to do. I am thinking all I need to do to have a little rake would be putting on some OME 890s, by doing that I would get maybe 1 1/2" more lift in the rear. The 4runner is stock and that's how I want to keep it, just want to barely raise the rear to have that slight rake.

 

I'm looking at doing the no cut zuk mod on my 92 pick up.
Seems like it would be cheaper and easier than hanging new leaf springs.
Most of the forums talk about doing the mod on 4runners.
Do some research to find out what springs to use.

 

I had this problem with my 4runner recently. just got the problem fixed recently. check out the last couple of pages of my thread if you'd like to get an idea. Mine is lifted.

One thing you can do is get some longer rear shackles, use a block lift, Add a leaf into your leaf pack(like i did). But i think the best choice and probably the least expensive and most comfortable ride would definitely be to look into doing a ZUK mod. Look it up. Chefyota4x4 did this to his truck and i got the privilege of driving his rig and riding with him on a few of our off road trips and i gotta say it was hella smooth. and it evened stuff out.

Look up that mod. I'm sure that'll be the answer to what you are looking for.

3rd gen 4runner- no leafs. Coils in the back.

Ome 890 give 3 inches of lift I believe. 906s would give you 2. 99 "tall" stock springs are about an inch over stock. Not sure on the part number but there is plenty of threads of you just search.

Is there any other coils aside from the 99s that also provide that 1” lift?

 

I'm not sure about that. 906s with 99s in the front looks good though

 

Just for reference sake I thought I would chime in. I replaced mine yesterday with a stock set from SD Truck Springs and they are just as flat as the set I took off. I had a heck of a time finding plain jane stock springs too (without spending $250-300 a piece). I ordered 2 other sets from different places that were supposed to be a "stock" replacement and they were for a 4" lift...and one wasnt even for a toyota! Be careful where you buy from and if I could go back and do it over again I would have kept the springs I had and do the ZUK mod because thats exactly what I'm about to do with this brand-R-new set I installed yesterday. the 2000 4Runner we had sagged really bad in the back. Banged off the rear bump stops all the time even with fresh Bilstein HD's in it. Then I bought stock Moog replacement springs for the back from rock auto for like $75 for the pair shipped. Drove like a new truck after that and looked WAY better.
