Aux. Power Options?

I was just looking for some ideas for auxiliary power. I running a Cobra Cb, amp, Wolo horn and soon to be lighting. It's getting pretty crowded off the battery and i'm looking to add an extra block or something to clean it up. Just wondering what other people are using and what ideas people have??? Thanks in advance!

search for auxiliary fuse boxes. i have one as do many others on here. i bought the block itself at my local auto parts store and just got some mini blade fuses to go in it. i wired i *think* a 12 gauge (coulda been 10) from the B+ to the fuse block with an inline 30 amp fuse and then just put fuses in the slots that i am using. mine has 6 slots. you can easily have more than one block and even rig one up to be accessory only, meaning only on when the car is on. its a VERY easy mod and soooo convenient for adding/disconnecting accessories, especially if your alarm has a tendency to go off ANY time you unhook your battery and hook it back up...

Did mine in about 1 hr but that's because I put everything in wire loom and hid all the lines for that stock look. Oh also filpped the fuse box in pic to hide the power wire better.

I ran an aux.box with 1 main line from the batt. for a clean look, then my accesories run off of that. I mounted it inside the engine bay though you could mount it in the interior. Looking back with all the extra crap I have I wish I would have mounted it inside just for less wires running through the firewall.

I did the same thing too, after reading Bob's write up. Easy and works great!

I did an aux fuse block in 2 different locations. One uner the hood for all of the outside electrical stuff, then one next to the center console towards the pedals on the metal console bracket. They work great for keeping all of the wires looking clean.
