There are turn signals in the bumper, you have to splice the wires from your stock bumper turn signals onto the TJM turn signals. You may want to remove some excess wire too. Am I missing something or is this what you meant?

I just used electrical tape when I did mine (bought it used), then used the connectors they give you when I helped Pat do his new one. It seems to work fine.
As for the old bumper, if it isn't in horrible condition, why not sell it whole, here or on ebay?

ok awesome.. still gotta strip the sheeving off the wires from the bumper as I need some bare wire to work with. I'll try the connectors hopefully.

my bumper has a badplace on bottom.. a repair was done before I owned it there.. women who owned it decided to run into a rock bench or something. its still good, could use some touchup paint here and there.. gonna sell my running boards for sure on ebay. and my brushguard is going to a friend.

That TJM looks good. That would be my choice too over the T-17. Nice choice.

My next mod is the bumper on mine.

keep the bumper. when you sell it in the future, you will want to take every mod off and build it back to stock. finding a bumper will cost you more than probably you'd make on the sale.

just my dos centavos.

can a winch be mounted on the t-17, they look easy to mount. and does anyone know if you can pick the TJM bumpers from distributers like 4x4 connection, only about an hour from here, and would save me $135
