That is actually the foam from the packaging. If you knew Pat, you would understand how anal he is. He has taken that truck off road once or twice, but he goes home and spends the next month buffing it back to looking like new.

Cool.

Hate to be a smartass but mine took me around 2hrs start to finish including drilling holes for lamps and mounting them. However, this is my 3rd, 3rd gen and 5th Runner overall so I kinda know my way around them by now.

That and I am sure the T-15 weighs considerably more than the T-17.

I used a pair of axle stand and blocks wedges of wood to get the wings level.

Dang...

I have sliders and a locker on my shopping list but got to wait for funds.

What locker ? What sliders ?

Those tow hook bolts can be a bear. I use a 24" breaker bar with a 36" piece of thickwall steel tube slide over that.

I helped someone put on a T-17 and those bolts really sucked...they were much easier when you turned them the right way...

we could do nothing about them.. we had to use the 700 psi gun to get em off, even then one of those took 10 seconds with that gun.. i think he stripped the crap out of it.

I havent put tow hooks back on..

I have yet to put my turn signals connected.. dont know how to solder yet

I thought you were going to bolt the sliders on? I personally like welding better & know there is a lot of debate on the subject. What made you decide to weld them?

The bumper looks great by the way. Good job.

i hate drilling holes into the my frame. so i think welding would be better

plus all I would have to do is align.. my brother would weld the rest haha.

I think i might have the bumper painted silver later on.. but i like it black right now.. gonna keep it this way and I might end up staying.
