Hey,

Welcome to YT
A couple places you might want to try looking are:

http://www.ttora.com - you can try looking for your local chapter or at the main forum
http://www.4x4wire.com
http://www.customtacos.com

Those are just to name a few. I've been on a few places but I think I like this place the best. More my type of people

Or, if he doesn't happen to have a Tacoma:
All-Toys Good general imformation
Pirate Toyota For the hardcore crawlers. Best information out there if you can deal with the people
Rockcrawler Good rockcrawling info
Rockcrawlin A local Colorado site by no means limited to Coloradans
Marlin Crawler Marlin Crawlers BBS, good all around info
Outer Limits (Australian) The guys in OZ know Toys
Off-Road.com Not as good a 4x4wire or Pirate but has some good people
Wild Yoats A bulletin board by a 4wd club, very good info
t4x4 Pickup Basic info, quite a few idiots to deal with. Essentially an unmoderated board
Colorado4x4 Not Toyota specific, but a lot of good people, my home board.

ahh, some good links. I've been finding that there is little here for the mini trucks lately. Everyone has a taco or runner.

Tell me about it, all I seem to be reading about is 4th gens. Its especially hard to find info on mini-trucks with carburators.

By the way, toy 283, do you have a link to pics of your truck? It looks nice from your avatar.

I've been thinking the same thing. I think our trucks are being discriminated against!
