I have an 88 Runner,, with a straight axle ,,I opted for a 3/4 ton Dana 44 front axle out of a 78 Chevy,, I narrowed the longside 2.25"s an able to run a stockFord F-150 longside axle (no custom axles),, I have the spring pad width the same as a stock Toyota 4wd front axle 79-85,, I run 5,5" lift Alcan springs, with the centerbolt moved forward 1.5"s,, I made my own front crossmember,, (which is a complete bolt-on unit),,

Not sure of the lift.
Try PM'ing him.
His user name is on the report page.

He is running 37" tires, and fully locked front & rear via ARB Air Lockers.

Did you watch the vids of his rig too going up the hill in reverse?

Gibbie (upndair) has lost track of how much lift he has. Last time I asked he said "I don't know". I think he may be looking at abotu 8" in suspension and another 2" body. He is running 37" MT/R tires and ARB Lockers front and rear. He has a website for his truck, but I don't think he has updated it in a while. All the mods you see on his truck have been done in just the last 18-24 months I think. He is also running those orbit eye springs. He gets to do some pretty cool stuff...

I have the 6" lift AOR springs in the front. The axle is from an 82 Toy Pickup. I purchased the SAS package from AOR. Everthing fit pretty well as it's supposed to.

Crash does a lot most custominzing work and it's excellent. If you want to get an off the shelf swap package, springs etc, my vote is for AOR vs All Pro. I get more articulation out of my shorter front springs and that's what I was shooting for.

Both AOR and AP have their pros and cons in terms on company rep, but the both produce great rockcrawling products.

A lot of welding and fabrication skills are still required but the time and money were all worth the effort.

I did go with the Bobby Long Joints to replace the birfields and I have a cross over steering.
