adding a tranny cooler

i want to add a tranny cooler cause im going to be towing a uhaul down to florida, is there any kind of special hose i should used to run from the tranny to the new exchanger?

I plan on buying one of those add on tranny coolers from autozone or advanced auto parts but what kind of diameter hose and tempeture resistance? What kind of pressure does tranny cooler have?

I had overheating not towing anything...I installed the cooler exactly the way corvettelvr73 did....I got the cooler at Advance...it come with lines..but I bought an extra pack to change out the old ones....WORKS GREAT....no overheating....think the reason it overheated was becuase JIFFY over serviced by a few quarts....but I feel better now...going to drive it 2000 miles soon...good luck....

Get one from NAPA and it will have everything you need to install one.

If you get one without lines (used, etc.), EFI fuel line works just fine.
