ADD question.
With an ADD system where the hubs are always locked, if you break an axle will it damage the differential to drive on it in 2wd with only one axle turning?
I'm not sure if this has been asked before, I searched a bit and didn't find anything. Thanks,
Bryan

I recently put locking hubs on mine to stop even the axles from turning. Why wear out the CV's when they're not driving anything? I spend most of my time on the road anyway so it's a plus for me to cut down on the extra drag and the extra wear.

With ADD the right axle is permantly connected and always turning the diff anyway, only the left one disconects. So if the right one breaks your diff won't turn, and if left one breaks in 2 wheel drive the diff will still turn from the right one.

I also plan on getting a Manual hub from ORS, but its like 1100$
Next mod I do... I drive far to and from work... and my CV boots are nicely grooved =)
Im not quite sure why, but I HEARD that if you brake a CV on the trail... if you cant disconnect... you either get towed, or replace it ON the trail...
but thats just what I heard... I dont know the reason or anything...

With ADD, I seem to get sidetracked and forget what I'm doing. For some reason it happens to me all the time. I've heard Rittalin works well.
Ooohh... look at the kitty!
Wait, what was I saying?
