It changed over the years, but no - power windows (and locks later) were an option even in SR5. They were part of the "power pkg" which included window tint. The sunroof was an option. The SR5 had much better seats, but the best in the industry 8way seats were an option. Chrome grill and fender trim was an option also, the 'chrome pkg." AC was an option...

SR5 was a nicer interior, better seats, a better standard radio (but there was still an optional better one) rear seat heater, better sound insulation throughout, full gauges, tilt column (I think) intermittent wipers?, chrome wheels instead of painted (later alum instead of steel) better center console, standard rear bumper on a truck, step bumper on a 4runner. That's about it. OH - and the cool Graphics.
Sunroof, power stuff (and maybe intermit wipers,) Chrome, 8way seats, best stereo with subwoof, and AC were all optional even on SR5s.
That has changed over the years though, so newer models may vary.

I just sold my relatively new Heep Wrangler and bought a cheap '94 Xtra cab for a daily driver. It's a 22RE 5 speed with 94,000 miles and 235/75/15 tires and it has been getting about 23 MPG. Not bad considering my Jeep was getting about 16-17.

My beat up '88 regular cab, with 22RE and a 5 speed, has about 185,000 miles and it still gets about 22 MPG, with stock gears and 32" Swampers.

Thanks for the info guys. I guess now I just have to decide between a pre-95 pickup with a 22re, a post-95 with a 2.7 (or 3.4) or a T-100 with a 3.4. Lots of options!!! Good thing they're all sweet trucks.

Do the post 95 pickups with the 3.4 get okay mileage? I'm driving my dad's T100 right now and the 3.4 in there is a great puller, i love it.

As you can tell, I'm really struggling with the horsepower vs. fuel economy dialectic...
