Hi all. I've had some issues with this 2000 4Runner Limited. At first the 4x4 light was constantly flashing. A very nice YT user recommended that I check the vacuum lines, and he was right, after fixing that everything engaged perfectly! That was in October. Now, during the winter months I've clicked on the 4 wheel button and I hear a snap sound and the 4x4 light starts to flash again...and it appears that 4 wheel doesn't engage. I click on the button again and then the light stops flashing. I've also replaced the transfer indicator switch. Any thoughts? Thank you.

 

did some more searching. Going to try to replace the front diff sensor.
