I used to have a few in mine when I was planning on joining the rescue squad. I wound up giving them to my buddy who is on the squad now. He's got 16 so far and will soon have a few more when he gets his roll bar. He drives a Dodge Ram so I can only picture a Walker Texas Ranger Ram when he does put them up.

My mom has used Galls to get stuff for work as well. They are very good, if anybody is going to ever shop from them.

I was about to ask why you had strobes since they're illegal most places where not required for work. But always cool for the 'check me out' factor.

they run btwn $100 and $400, Since I has a vested interest in my company I make certain we get our pennies worth. Initially I looked here and there and we used the dash maounted strobe systems and roof top magmounted lights but after blowing countless fuses in the Suburban because the 12V wasnt a true 12V we decided something mor permanent was needed in all vehichles. So Galls had a kit with the same wattage as the whelen system for a good bit less, and since they stand behind the product it was a go! I wanted an expandable system 6plug for my daily since I might need to add some lights somewhere else but for my worker trucks a standar 4 plug was fine. What you need to be concerned with is the output, very similar to stereo amps. I run 90watt systems in the F250, 4Runner and 60watt in the Suburban, Tundra, Liberty. The addtional plugs give you the option of adding more lights say on the roof or headliner, dash, grill, side markers, etc.. The installation it simple just use common sense, as far as the wiring goes its wierd and doesnt require a realy you just run the switch on/off in line to the power. Not like you would think but the box controls everything just fine and it doesnt get very warm. So back to the cost, I paid $270 through galls but like everything else I checked ebay and sure enough I found Whelen "a very reputable company" for sale through a store for 1/2 the retail price http://stores.ebay.com/c-e-lights_W0...enameZL2QQtZkm is the sellers store.
