22re low RPM problems

ive searched the board and haveint really found what im looking for so its time to ask....anybody have misfiring problems with the 22re at low rpm when accelerating? mine will jump and studder a little till its starts to get some engine speed..makes for poor fuel economy cuz you have to hold the gears longer....only does it under load (revs fine with no problems) and after it warms up...right at start up till the time it gets to operating temp its ok....then goes bad...ive played with fuel grades and timming but donenst seem to do much...anybody experence this?

thanks for the help all
Kevin

Try getting new plugs and wires? That happened to me not long ago and changing them fixed it.

I had the same problem with a bad MAF on mine. Engine was running way too lean and the exhaust manifold got red hot.
