2003 - Custom Sub?

Does anybody know if there are any custom subwoofer boxes available for the 2003's yet? (i.e. like the JL Audio stealth boxes)

Check the links in my sig... I built a nice sub enclosure that goes in the load space in the back of a 3rd gen.

I looked at a Stealth box and it took a lot of room and was big bucks.

You can probably have a small customer box made for a lot less than a stealth box...

Glass it!

See if you can find someone who works with fiberglass. They would be abe to make something for you that's non-invasive and looks like it was meant to be there from Toyota. If you're just doing an enclosure for 1 sub you could pull it off with a 1 gallon jug of fiberglass resin. I'm planning on fiberglassing the enclosure in the back for my 4 subs sometime this summer. It will definately be interesting. I'll be sure to post pics.

I had see your pics of your install a while back and meant to tell you how great that looked. If I were going to add stereo, that is the way I would like it to look. As close to stock as possible. Great job!!

I used to work at a car audio shop that sold jl audio stealth boxes. In my openion they are a rip off. Dont get me wrong I love jl subs and would not use any other brand but i would get someone to make you a small enclosure for it rather that buy a stealth box. I have done i coulple of guys sport utility with one 10w3 or 12w3 fireing down. By fireing it down you dont have to worry about cargo messing up you sub and you cant hear the sub air noise if you are realy pushing it. I think this will sound alot better and is alot cheaper (that s always a good thing).
