2000 4Runner - Sunroof won't open / clear drain tubes
Hi all,
I've noticed that my sunroof is been a bit leaky after a rainy day to the point where I have found my passenger side carpet a bit moist. I wanted to check it out this past weekend and clear the drain tubes that help flush water out when i realized that my sunroof was not opening (I press open button and nothing happens).
Is it possible that my leaky sunroof would cause the sunroof to malfunction and not open? Or is this a completely unrelated issue.
Please let me know where I should start looking to get my sunroof to open so that I can get to work on the drain tubes.
Tia,
maguirre

you need to start by checking fuses, if you don't find a blown fuse you will need a volt meter or at least a test light and see if there is power and ground to the switch, or to the motor when you press the switch. a wiring diagram might be needed as well.
