30-40le. Leak problem

If anyone here could help me our it would be much appreciared, i gotta 2000 tacoma, with a 30-40LE trans and goin to work it wouldnt go anymore lost all, lost all gears.with new fluid and seal it still leaks i dont know much about toyotas so what am i doing wrong or missing ive already removed and put back the trans 4 times im pretty stumped, anything will help thanks

In lieu of specific advice, I'd verify everything from:
-seal seated properly?
-bolts torqued to correct specs?
-connections all hooked up and tight?
-correct trans type installed (if putting in replacement)?

Strange, maybe try once more to be sure it doesn't work.
