It ended up being my u-joints and driveshafts. Make sure you have them all lubed . There is a ton

QFT. Same here. Lube up all your driveshaft zerks and you should be fine

was your "chirp" loud and quick? i have such a chrip when i let off the gas and i was thinking it was a trany problem but it seems to be going into all the gears fine and the clutch is also engaging quite nicely

My 2000 4runner does the same thing. I'd really love to figure out what it is. It sounds like it's coming from directly underneath the driver seat.

Same thing has been happening to my 2000 4runner over the past week. Squealing noise (like belts) only on deceleration. All zerks were pretty dry. Greased em up and the noise is gone! 😃
