Does the car you drive have 1000hp?

And besides all the water cooler BS this thing is awesome, and enough about it being unstable and crap, just be quiet and watch the video again.

Haha. I saw that show. Supercars Exposed? IMO its one of the worst ones on Speed. Just shows you what some random guy thinks about a car that I will never be able to own/drive.

Millen still held the unlimited record at pikes peak which was set in '94 in an AWD Celica but was broken in '07 but this was done after a portion has been paved which shaved 3 minutes off of Millen's time.
The truck is also in the "Dirt" video game. I have it for Xbox360. I think its the fastest car in the game.

That "random guy" is Tanner Foust.
• 2007 X Games Rally Gold Medalist
• 2007 Formula Drift Pro Drift Champion
• 2007 Rally America Series Fourth Place (with 6 podium placements)
• 2006 Formula Drift Championship third place overall
• 2006 Rally America PGT Class Championship Second place overall.

Your right, some random guy.

If you know that much about racing, then you have to know that truck is far out of the element its set up for on the track the video is showing. Find the pikes peak vids of it, believe me it sticks! biggest problem is that the track its on is probably too short to get the truck up to enough speed for the aerodynamics to work properly. When up to speed that thing would throw a huge rooster tail from the massive amounts of aerodynamics. Or just ask your buddy Rhys Millen about it ... its his dads truck anyway.

If I remember correctly the reason he was pushing so hard is because he was trying to beat the course record at Goodwood. Here's what the engine in the Tacoma was originally meant for. Although in the GTP car it was running at 750 hp or so.

That vehicle is a Tacoma, like the Nascar Camry is a production car

I have not seen anyone yet confirm what sort of engine that vehicle has. Is that a turbo diesel? With the black smoke coming out of there, i would be half tempted to say it was. However, it doesn't look thick enough to be diesel smoke.

It is a 2.1L turbocharged 4 cylinder that was originally designed to power Toyota's IMSA GTP and GTO cars. Here's some info on it from some random site: The most famous and successful Toyota Race engine- the 503E was used in Toyota's Triumphant Championship seasons in IMSA GTO / GTP, Pikes Peak, Le Mans, and in the mid-90s Japan Touring Cup Championship. It is important to note that the 16 valve cylinder head layout from the 152E engine and the T block crankshaft saddle design were used as design base for this ultimate Toyota 4 cylinder Turbocharged race engine. The 503E represented the most powerful 4 cylinders in competition history developing over 1000HP in qualifying tune, 800HP for sprint races, and 600 for endurance events.
