Question 02 SE Dash Light Question

Could somebody please tell me if the fan switch and the rear window switch are supposed to light up? I am trying to figure out if the bulbs have gone out or if they just simply don't light up. Seems to me like they sure should. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Brady

they do light up. I've replaced mine. Dont bother going to dealer cuz they'll search in their lil computer for 10mins. and tell you they dont have replacements. When you take out the bulb. keep the bulb base cuz the bulb just pops out. goto radio shack and just buy the replacement bulb with matching voltage. Dealer was going to make me buy the whole console?????hm...

BTW - ETC and rear window switch lights up.

Just to clarify, it's the rear window switch and fan knob. I know that you guys have pretty much told me that these SHOULD light up (at least definitely the fan). So is it just a matter of pulling off the panel and then removing the bulb (sorry for the seemingly stupid questions)? Now I'm trying to figure out if there are anymore ones that should be lit but aren't.

Lee is right mostly with the pic but ETC button and rear window button should light up as well. And yes, you do have to take out the bezel, it's really easy. Tech section has how-to guide for removing it as well.

I don't believe rear window button lights up... It never has been lit on mine since I bought the truck.
