From: Bryan Tx,
Well I just bit the bullet & orderd some 3/4" heim joints from Ruffstuffspecialties. Plan is to do some fab work & replace my tie rod ends with heim's. Should be indestructable.

Stole this pic off of TTORA, here is a perfect example of what I plan on doing.

My Sky Off-Road Diff armor just showed up. This is a nice looking piece, I'll try & get it welded on this weekend.

Hopefully after this weekend I will have something to show you. I have been checking on my Heim joints and it looks like they shipped out yesterday so they will be my first priority. My tie rod ends are totally finished to the point where I can't get the alignment I desperatly need before I can get this thing street legal.

Right, well, did this all start happening when you added the BJ spacers? I've heard often that it's a touchy process after installing them. Either way, your rig is looking sweet! Time for some videos next time out, eh?

PS> You want to drive it to some of these locations instead of towing it? That one of the reasons for the 'street legal' works in progress?

No the tie rod ends have been a weak link since the first time I bashed on it off road & the alignment has been bad since i bought it. I have also heard of some people have TRE problems after BJ spacers, but I am looking for an indistructable solution. Saving for my fab work of course, I can do the Heim conversion for the same $$ as just replacing the TRE's. Next trip is Saturday the 21st & it is a night trip so I doubt I will get any decent videos, but I will keep it in mind when I get a chance.

Yes! the park I go to most often is only 10 miles from my house & towing it there is getting real old real quick.

From: Bryan Tx,
Time & money where tight last weekend but I did make it out to my dad's place to bring is welder home & managed to get my diff gaurd welded on. I really need some practice with the welding, it has been way too long. The welds are definatlly strong enough, just not really pretty, but hey that is what grinders are for right.

From: Bryan Tx,
A little sad news from my wheeling trip this weekend. I know I am pretty upset about it but what can you do. Pick up the pieces, fix the mess & do it all over again.

This happened first.

Then I decided to make another run at that hill & this happened.

The end result is this.

HOLY MACKEREL! Dang man, I'm sorry! Well, you're a very handy guy, and while I'm sure this isn't what you'd planned to do next.... You'll get it rubbed out(so to speak) in no time!

Again, ...sorry man!

x3 owww, time for an EXO ? that sucks man. on a positive note though at least you didn't roll it so it's completely repairable. It also looks like you used really good paint, it buckled nicely on the fender and didn't rub off that bad on the tailgate.

Yeah, getting damage is part of the game I guess, I just didn't expect it to be so bad you know?

Not sure what the plan is going to be but Like Extreme said, it is completely repairable. First thing that is going to happen is a brake upgrade to stop it from happening again.
