Stock will clear 31's easy. Honestly, I just THINK the 33's are going to rub, haven't really gotten to test it

What can you say red is sexy

i was just looking at my truck last night and if you take out the black plastic inner fenders you can clear 33's and maybe some smashing of the firewall a little.

Rob....what size is your ammo box? can you post up a fuller pic?? Joe's console is only mostly there....it's minus it's lid and we might end up doing something similar to your's.

I love it, too! However, I'm having trouble finding a way to get a paint to match the shell to the body. My body is pretty clean, but the shell is turning pink, lol. Guess I'll call Toyota and get a computer generated number from them... then get some roll on? Hmmmmm. Or, I could just paint it black, although I really like the uniform look of the solid red when they're clean. Red fades pretty fast, too, but I've kept mine waxed or in shade as much as possible...so it's not TOO bad. But the shell? yeah, mine's toast, lol.

Sure Jerry, I am pretty sure it is a 40 cal, but I'll get some better pics & some actual measurements for you ASAP. It seems to fit in there perfectly & making the vynil lid for it was really easy.

my guess is it's a 33mm (not to be confused with a 33cal) case. kinda like the biggest one you saw of mine when we went to rausch

I've been hunting around for a nice cush one with an optional cooler on the larger housing and 4 power outlets(2 front and 2 rear), but they're all too big! Grrr, lol. I like the idea of having it higher, because my arms don't rest on the top of the stockie well. Heck, I'd love to get some sweet Tacoma seats, too, ...but just trying to figure out a bolt in console idea. Did you secure your ammo box so it's impossible to break into, Rob? Well, without a sawzaw or torch, that is? lol.

No, but mine stays in the garage 99% of the time. They can be easily made lockable though, I might go back and do mine. Follow the link & check out post #351. It's a real simple way to do it, if I do mine then I would change a few things but his plan works.

From: Bryan Tx,
Got some Ford horns for the 4runner, mine was missing all together. Problem was that the wiring to the horn button on the steering wheel of the Toyota are hot all the time & switch on the ground, but the Ford horn grounds to the chassis thru the mounting stud. The solution was a 20 amp relay. Full time hot (from original horn wiring) on 87 & 86 on the relay, gronund from original horn wiring to 85 & 30 to the horn positve. Easy deal & works great.

Then, boredom got the best of me & I ended up cutting my Spatran locker sticker & slapping it on the grill, not sure if I will keep it or not.

Sorry for the lame update, no real mod money to do anything worth wild. At least I am one step closer to getting an inspection sticker.

Nice Pic Lumpy! LOL, I'm not sure if I like the sticker or not, but at the time I thought it looked cool. Prefect colors, with the white black & green.
