Looking terrific.
Missed the dec post. "Replaced heater hoses"... did you by chance find and replace the hoses for the rear seat heater assembly? Apparently those are like chicken teeth now.

Degreased and painted the intake today. Found a new stock 3.0 sticker for it as well

That intake turned out great, I'm slightly confused though, I thought you were swapping in a 3.4? Sorry if I'm confused, I read a lot of build threads.

Got the engine mounted with tg bomb proof engine mounts but I had to machine them to fit. It was a job but it's in. I got the tranny bolted up as well. Good day, hard physical work but success.

Looks like you got a lot of angle on your front rear leaf spring shackle. I had the same problem and it would nail the cab mount when I hit hard bumps.

Yeah, I used the all pro low profile spring hanger and it's wider than the standard one so if you go by their instructions it ends up half an inch back from where it should be. I also went with 4" instead of 5" shackles which makes it even more exaggerated. This isn't the worst part, my steering arms hit at ride height so moving the front hanger forward will only make that issue worse. I called them up and they are supposed to be sending me the normal front spring hanger and 5" shackles that normally go with the kit. Luckily I have only tacked in the front hanger so I can cut it back out pretty easily.

I wonder if the issue is that they list the mounts for
  • Pickup and 4Runner V6 3.0 89-94
and your's is a 95, though I don't know what the difference would be

I think it's a typo on their website. If you click on application it shows this:

Application Data
1979-1995 Toyota Pickup (All Engines)
1985-1995 Toyota 4Runner (All Engines)
1995-2004 Toyota Tacoma (2.7L & 3.4L)

Well I tried keeping it as low as possible and had allpro send me their low profile front spring hanger as well as 4" instead of 5" shackles. I mounted it a half in forward of the frame but it actually needed to come another half inch forward because it has a different rectangular tubing that is wider than the standard mount so it doesn't work with the standard instructions. However the drag link was hitting the tie rod at ride height and moving the hanger forward was only going to make it worse even though my shackle angle was too shallow and I only had a couple inches of up travel before hitting the bump stops.

I called allpro and they sent me the standard hanger and shackles and it looks like that fixed it. Steering arms clear at ride height, shackle angle looks perfect and I am 5.5" from the frame now from the bump stop

After

Burned in the shock towers as well:

Got everything painted and the 5125 Bilsteins in only thing left is bump stops. On to getting everything plumbed and wired to get it fired back up.

Put tires back on her for the first time since September. Axle swap complete now get her running and time for 63" chevy swap for the rear coils.

63" leaf springs off a 97 Tahoe to replace the coil sprung rear soon. Also have an 2" add a leaf to put in for what hopefully will match the 4" front leaf spring lift.

She's back from the dead but has a code 52 so apparently the computer isn't reading the knock sensor. And there is some horrible noise coming from the bellhousing that I can't yet confirm but suspect that the starter gear is stuck on the flywheel. To be continued.

Yep starter gear was rubbing against the flywheel gear. Mostly self clearanced so I just took my angle grinder and finished it. No more awful sound. On to the knock sensor.
