I got news from the machine shop. Well first off I took the block in to get it service and they say next bore size would have to be .6O over. Yikes!!! Not going to risk anything. So hope my buddy has a block I can pick up and hopefully at stock spec. Btw this is my original block not the One I just picked up and also who want an 81-84 22re block?

MAN, I feel for ya.... I mean, I find around 5 each visit to Pick-Your-Part out here.... YES, most of the intakes and more are RIPPED OFF, rather than removed(because these TOOLS don't bring tools, nor probably understand how they're assembled/disassembled.....GRRR! lol)...but the blocks are almost always there. Trans' are often there, too. Gears? NEVER! lol. I just saw one in SWEET shape, last weekend...(got CAm phone pics)...... Crank turned really easily by hand with wrench, etc..... But someone had dropped it on the ground on metal and cracked the face of the block(man, what is it with me and my luck with block faces being cracked???? hahaha).

Best wishes, Vang,.....can't wait to see you "On the Road Again!!!"

Yes, I have the 261.... And NO CLUE, Vang, as pertaining to 'SMOG'...... as I've not had to take it in just yet. This May, it's ONNNNNN, as they say, lol.... but for some reason, due to the thing always passing with flying colors, etc., .................they gave me a year off??? lol. I think the 261 is as advertised.... "NO PROBLEM with passing smog", etc.... It's not like even a 285 Crane, etc., where you have to start worrying.... let alone like the stroker CAMS(428-431, etc.)..... YOWIE, lol.... Bet those things RUMBLE, lol....

And, ........... I LIKE BLAKES 4RUNNER TOO!!!! Blakes a pretty cool dude, himself... hahaha. OH, and his dad is a cool cat as well
