There's a funnny video on YouTube of an English TV show where they try to destroy a Toyota pickup and basically can't. The first thing they try to do is crash it into a tree, which didn't do anything! It just backed up and rolled away. Looked kinda like the Berry.

so the scav has never had a blower motor tht worked, everytime you turn the fan on it would make a sound like it was seized.

so i tore the dash apart to take the motor out.

after tearing the dash a part i decided i wanted to give the truck power to see what was going on. i but a jumperbox on the truck and turrn the key on, then turned the fan on. i found out the noise i was hearing was a relay located to the left of the glove box and behind the heater controls. so i put another relay in and it started to work but then quit.

i found the blower plug was burnt.

this was after scaping most of the burnt plastic off

so i plugged it back in and hooked my voltmeter to the back of it and watched the voltage range from .1v-.9v which means it wasnt getting a good connection. so since i didnt have another plug and still wanted to keep the plug i added a ground wire before the plug

and coneected it to a relay on the pass. side

now my blower motor works. im so happy, i thought i was going to have to buy a new one.

now the next time my friend is over we will clean it up and put it back together. the inside smeels like dog=(

the PO was an mid aged lady tht lived in it with 2 dogs yuck!!!
