Are you talking about the DED Toyota? It's actually a really nice build with a 3rz swapped in as well.

That thing is fairly mild compared to some of the builds on Pirate4x4.

thought I would start on the front first..thought it would be easier....Wrong!

here's the issue. The long shafts that has my 488s in it has some contraptions on it

the original I just took out doesn't have all of that

I'm thinking. Need to switch the long shafts from my original to the new one just so everything matches... thoughts anyone?

I think that is the auto disconnect deal that some runners have. If that's the case then swapping shouldn't be an issue

So I got my gears in today. No pictures. I was to greasy haha. I do have an issue though. I put 3 qts of 90w oil in the rear. Now when I parked just awhile ago I notice it's overflowing out of the vent tube..what gives.
Also I cannot believe how much different it is. I can feel pull if 5th gear...simply amazing

Ok. As I'm working out some issues keep finding new ones. Today we went to cherokee national forest. Had a blast. Anyway the issue i found I hit a mud hole ..pretty deep water, that my buddy just went thru with out a hitch. The water came up to the headlights and the motor started jerking around. I let it idle. When i got out of the hole.. for about 10 minutes it wouldn't rev over 2000 rpm. It ran great no idle issues.. but when iIwould aaccelerate Iwould get to the 2000 mark and it would choke up and not exceed that ppoint . But still run fine . it did clear up. And has no effects of what happened then still.lingering anybody had this issue?
